Honouring my Teachers To celebrate the publication of my new updated website, I would like to thank and honour the Teachers who have made the most positive impact on my healing journey thus far. These are the ones to whom I extend my heartfelt gratitude to for their steadfast "walk the talk" and inspiration. // //Reiki// I started my Reiki journey in Usui Reiki in 2002 with Majella Fagan of Green Tara College. From there I went on to complete many other forms of Reiki all the way up to Grand Reiki Master with the amazing Eileen Mc Court. // //Shamanism// Majella also introduced me to shamanism through Green Tara College when she first started teaching. She was the spark that ignited the fire all those years ago. Eventually she went deeper into the Peruvian traditions while I became more and more interested in Celtic Shamanism, with a passion, which meant we went our separate ways.// My seeking of our old mysteries and traditions brought me on some epic shamanic adventures to ancient sites all over the world including Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, UK, Isle of Man, Egypt, Eastern Europe and France.// I was well on the shamanic path for at least 16 years when I finally discovered the Irish Centre for Shamanic Studies at Dunderry. This is where I met Martin Duffy and Annette Peard, the icing on a many layered shamanic cake. I completed the Advanced Shamanic Practitioner Certification there in 2015 and went on to obtain the award to practice as a Shamanic Counsellor in 2019 // Currently I am in ongoing study with Betsy Bergstrom in the Völva, Vala Norn and Seidr practices of Norse tradition. This helps me to deepen my Celtic practice too as I observe what I'm learning from a more Celtic approach which is proving to be very interesting. // //Herbalism// //I graduated as a Herbalist from Brighid's Academy of Sound Healing in Mullingar after completing four years of study in the Arts and Sciences of Botanical Medicine in 2017. The learning here will take a lifetime to assimilate but I am deeply grateful to have come into closer connection with the medicine of our indigenous plants. Gina Mc Gary is one of the most beloved of my teachers and one I am really lucky to call friend. // //Sound Therapy// //After five years as an already established Sound Therapist and Tutor, I undertook my Gong Master training with world renowned Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux and with Tom and Abby of Tone of Life in London 2015. These were the most influential and transformational teachers in sacred sound I could ever have hoped to meet. Their retreat in Poland in 2015 was exceptional.// //I continue to grow in these sacred practices and now teach new students who are stepping onto the Path, something that brings me great joy.

After our regular meet-up Sound Bath, we headed to the beach where we held a drumming circle, did some chanting and one to one sessions with gong and singing bowls all to the magnificent background sound of the sea. It was incredibly beautiful. Thanks to all who came and made it so special.

I was fortunate to go to Poland for eight days of intensive training with Tone of Life, Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux and Musicologist Esteban Valdivia. It was a beautiful place nestled into the wooded mountains of Porabka. The teachings were invaluable and the healing priceless. I hope to return some day.

The picturesque village of Moynalty.  It’s pronounced Moy-nawwwwwlty and you better get it right as they are quick to correct you! :) I gave a Gong Bath in the Town Hall and there were about 50 people there.  I was really delighted with some of the amazing feedback  Thank you to everyone…I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Thanks to all who attended the Sound Bath this evening. All proceeds raised went to aid the rescue and recovery of the people of Tibet following the recent devastating earthquake. We hope that our healing energy too will join with that of others to help everyone affected.

We had a full house at the Lighthouse Clinic, Swords, Co Dublin this evening. We began with a group chant to connect with other groups and individuals around the world for the 13th annual World Sound Healing Day. We toned together for the healing of our planet, our waters and the raising of conciousness. Following this everyone settled down for the sound bath. Many thanks to everyone who came, it was a fabulous night.
